The first four months of the babies life is pretty straight forward. Doctors generally suggest that babies in this age range only eat breast milk or you can use formula as an alternative. There are a few reasons why it is important to old feed your baby milk or formula during the first 4 months. It you start feeding them solid foods they can potentially develop food allergies that they maybe wouldn’t have and it can very hard on your babies digestive system because they will start to have more solid poops before they are more developed.
During the four to six month baby feeding schedule you can generally start to feeding your baby solid foods in small quantities. It is important that the main source of their diet is still breast milk or formula. It is also important to follow the recommendations of your doctor because your baby may not be ready for solid foods during this stage based on their current development. Solid foods you can consider using include things like baby rice cereal and baby oatmeal cereal.
The 6 month old baby feeding schedule to 8 months changes a little more. Babies can start to eat even more solid foods at this stage including fruits and vegetables. It is important to still be feeding them formula or breast milk along with these additional solid foods. You might notice that you start to feed your baby on a more regular schedule with a breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You might want to create some sort of baby feeding chart so you can make sure you are feeding them enough during the day.

You should be able to start feeding your baby normal adult food from your own plate around the age of 10 months. Make sure that food you do give your baby is small in size and will be easing for them to swallow. Foods that are hard to eat can be a pretty big chocking hazard if you are not careful.
Your baby feeding schedule gradually changes as the babies grows up and develops. There is a good amount of time for each stage for you to be able to adapt to the changes you will want to implement into their diet. Remember it is very important to always consult with your doctor about your babies diet and follow their recommendations.
