There are however places that rate the best car waxes against each other to really figure out what is the best car wax.

So you could say the following rankings would be called the best rated car wax. There are two car waxes that have pretty much tied for the top spot. The fourth spot went to Nu Finish NFP-80 and the fifth spot went to Eagle One Was-As-U-Dry. Those were the top 5 best car wax options according to consumer reports.

Epinions had a little different response to what is the best car wax. They rated Mothers California Gold Original Formula Carnauba Cleaner Wax as the best car wax on the market. So quite a bit different than the consumer reports rated them. Epinions second and third rankings were Collinite No. 845 Insulator Wax and Armor All Car Wax respectively.
