Courtney Oliver 10 year old Vet, is it possible? Well obviously it is possible because she has done it. She apparently has a big love for animals as she has a dog and two hamsters. According to reports she decided one day that she wanted to be able to work on her pets. She took an online college course and has received her veterinarian certification. She now works as a veterinary assistant at a pet hospital.
This story is unbelievable as so is Courtney Oliver. Who would have thought there could ever be a 10 year old vet. On the little girls first day on the job she started asking a lot of questions such as “when can I start doing that?” She apparently is not afraid of blood because she says we have it so why should we be afraid of it. We will continue to follow this story and provide any breaking news updates regarding it.

I think that these news and columnist writers need to realize that she is only a veterinary assistant, i mean it takes four years to become a vet tech and almost eight to ten years to be a veterinarian. I am a Pre-Vet major at ferrum college, ferrum VA. And i know for a fact taht inorder to classifty her as a DVM she would have to have a real college degree. and unless your basically 18, and finished high school you cannot receive a college education or atleast hold a GED and go to college. This is rediculous.but i appreciate her efforts.
Oh come on. If you even TRY to check your facts for a moment or two you would discover that you are exagerating the true facts. Courtney is my grandchild and I am very proud of her. At age ten she has qualified to be a veterinarian assistant. That is wonderful! I can’t even spell veterinarian without double checking my spelling. It is a grand accomplishment for a ten year old, but it is no where near the same as being a full blown PHD Vet. Fortunately many other online sites now have the correct story which is a fun little story about a cool ten year old. What makes her special is that she was testing at high school levels in her other coursework, and that she was given a great opportunity by the vet her mom uses for her dogs.
