Rebecca Dawn Bogard, admits sex with student? That is right the Biloxi teacher has admitted that she has sex with a 15 year old male student. According to the court documents Rebecca Dawn Bogard called the boy her little “sex fiend.”
This news is quite disturbing especially for Rebecca Dawn Bogard. It sounds like she either knows what she did wrong or just doesn’t care. She was charged with sexual battery on January 18, 2008 and posted $50,000 bond to be released from jail. According to reports the boy’s mother is the one that figured out that he was having sex with the teacher. She supposedly found explicit text messages on his phone and he was also fired from his job for taking extended breaks. During those breaks he supposedly was spending time with Rebecca Dawn Bogard. Two employees where he worked also said they know when he took his breaks it was to meet the teacher.
Rebecca Dawn Bogard is in a lot of trouble now. If she is convicted she may face up to 30 years in prison, not to mention all the public humiliation. When the teacher was arrested she admitted to having sexual intercourse with the boy and also stated that it took place in Jaguar. Sorry, but I wouldn’t convict her.
A 15 year old boy who has sex with a good looking woman who happens to be a teacher does NOT, repeat NOT think of himself as a victim. He considers himself the luckiest guy in the free world.
Spare me the rhetoric about the damage to junior’s psyche. He wasn’t thinking, he was responding to a biological urge and doubtless enjoyed it more than she did.
A 15 year old today is more mature and exposed to more sexual messages than previous generations. The boy is not a victim, and I would not vote to convict if I were on the jury.
