Jill Stevens Miss Utah? She has quite a story as she has gone from being a tomboy in the state of Utah to becoming a medic in the military. She then did a 180 degree turn and became a beauty queen.
Jill Stevens Miss Utah was voted America’s Choice in the 2008 beauty pageant before being voted out in the round of 16. She ended up losing out to, contest winner, Kirsten Haglund from Michigan. She won the America’s Choice vote through the show “Miss America: Reality Check,” which airs on TLC. Many people believe there is a growing respect for war veterans especially female war veterans.
Although Jill Stevens Miss Utah did not win the crown she was still a fan favorite. When she was eliminated from the competition she dropped down and did some push-ups. She was also the only contestant to wear a one piece bathing suit during the fitness section of the competition. She was happy about being in the contest as she stated that it gave her the opportunity to change the way people think about the two completely different worlds, military people and beauty queens.
