2008 Tax Rebate? That’s right Congress and the Whitehouse have agreed to economic stimulus package that they hope is going to stir some activity in our slumping economy. The 2008 Tax Rebate is expected to do just that, although it already has its critics as some people believe it will do nothing to help our economy.
The 2008 tax rebate is going to provide a $600 rebate for an individual and a $1200 rebate for a couple. If you have kids you can expect to receive an additional $300 for each child that you have. With the growing fears of a recession Congress is getting pretty nervous about what is happening in the economy.
Do you think the 2008 tax rebate will help to boost some life into the economy? I think that most people will like the rebate, but I have a feeling that most people will be using it for other things such as bills and may not use as Congress may have hoped.
