Bush Stimulus Package 2008. The United States Congress and President Bush have agreed to a deal that was created to help stir up the U.S. economy in attempt to put some life back into it.
The Bush Stimulus Package 2008 is likely to be a nice relief for the average taxpayer. The total stimulus package is expected to exceed $150 billion in tax breaks. Each individual will receive $600 and married couples will receive $1200. If you make more than $75,000 as an individual or $150,000 as a married couple the rebate will start to fade out. If you didn’t make enough to pay taxes you are eligible for a $300 rebate check.
The Bush Stimulus Package 2008 is a good start to help turn our economy around, but many think it may not be enough. Some people have said already that they feel the stimulus package was created so congressman can rest there minds easier.
