2008 Bush Economic Stimulus Plan has been agreed upon this morning. The stimulus package is expected to provide some instant relief for the economy by sending out rebate checks for individuals and provide tax cuts for businesses.
The 2008 Bush economic stimulus plan is going to provide $600 rebate checks for an individual and $1200 for a married couple. In addition taxpayers can expect to receive an additional $300 for each of there children. Congress has agreed to the plan as of Thursday morning and people should except to start see rebate checks as early as June.
The 2008 Bush economic stimulus plan is not exactly what President Bush had originally proposed but it is a good compromise. President Bush originally wanted $800 per individual and $1600 for married couples. The reason this amount wasn’t agreed upon is because it would have cut out all the people that don’t make enough to pay any taxes. The lower amounts provide enough to include all those individuals. If you did not make enough to pay any taxes you are eligible to receive a $300 rebate check. If we hear anymore breaking news about this we will provide an update.
