I 4 Accident kill’s three people? There was a massive I 4 pile up today in Polk County in Orlando, Florida. The accident consisted of 30 cars in one big mess.
The I 4 accident was reportedly caused by smoke and fog. There was a controlled burn that was started on Tuesday in Polk County and authorities are saying this mixed with the fog caused extremely lows levels of visibility. Some people were saying that they have never heard of a 30 car pile up because of smoke and fog. If you think about it there may have never been the combination of the two as controlled burns do not take place very often and fog does not occur every day.
The I 4 accident has the Interstate shut down completely in both directions. This includes east bound and west bound traffic. Firefighters and Transportation crews are reporting how messing the road is and how it is going to take a while to get it cleaned up so the roads are safe to travel. For those having to commute that normally take this Interstate, you may want to take some back roads home today because you may not be able to travel on I 4 because of the I 4 accident.
