Heather Kuzmich Asperger’s Syndrome? This 21 year old girl has become the face for this syndrome on national television. She was selected by Tyra Banks to be a contestant on “America’s Next Top Model.”

Heather Kuzmich has had her disorder play out on national television and is given viewers a chance to get a glimpse in the life of someone that suffers from this. Asperger’s Syndrome is considered to be a form of autism. It causes the person to have different communication skills and strange social interaction. Often times on the show the other girls she had to live with would make fun of her and she could not really understand what was going on. She many times was seen crying to her mom on the phone about the situation.

Heather Kuzmich has an extremely unique ability to work with the camera as is stated by one of the photographers shooting photos of her. She was voted the most popular contestant 8 weeks in a row. She made it into the top 5 before finally being voted off, but the attention she has been able to bring for herself and Asperger’s Syndrome could not have been done better. She not hopes to become a national spokesperson for the syndrome and she already has interest for work as a model. Her story is really quite amazing and now she is in the national spotlight.
