Christina Silva was the Miss California USA winner until yesterday. Pageant officials called up Christina Silva and informed her that should would have to give her crown to Raquel Beezley because she is the rightful winner. They told her that it was because of an accounting error.
Christina Silva told news reporters that the Pageant officials threatened to ruin her career and reputation if she did not cooperate. Think this sounds pretty fishy huh? Well you might be right. Christina Silva has hired a lawyer to help her find out more about what happened. Several of the judges in the competition questioned the winner after the winner had been announced. The state director Keith Lewis said that an investigation started and the counting error was discovered the following day.
Christina Silva is rightfully upset about what happened to her, but if she really was not the winner then she should not have the crown. It does seem a little odd how pageant officials handled the situation if was Christina Silva told new reporters is accurate.
