Sean Taylor Funeral took place today at the Florida International University Pharmed Arena. There were thousands of people that attended his funeral including Washington Redskins players, coaches, officials, friends, relatives, and NFL players from other teams.
As the Sean Taylor Funeral was starting they played a video on two large screens in the arena that showed highlights from his Football career. The video including clips from when he was in high school, college, and the NFL.
Prior to the Sean Taylor Funeral service on Monday there was a Vigil held on Sunday night at the University of Miami. This is the school he played college football at. His girlfriend Jackie Garcia spoke saying that he had planned to return to school at the University of Miami in January and graduate with a degree. She stated that it was his dream to graduate from college.
The Sean Taylor Funeral service was a time to remember him after he was shot and died at the hospital on November 27, 2007. He will be missed by tons of people across the country, but especially by his family and friends. If we hear any more breaking news regarding Sean Taylor we will provide an update.
