The Willie Horton Ad is a very ugly campaign ad that attacked Michael Dukakis several years ago. The next year is expected to get very ugly with political ads that really attack potential presidential candidates.

The Willie Horton Ad provided a whole lot of controversy when it aired on television. Willie Horton was serving a life sentence when a program called furlough came out. The furlough program allowed weekend releases of inmates. Micahel Dukakis was governor of Massachusetts at the time and supported the program. While Willie Horton was on his release time he raped a women twice and stabbed and pistol whipped her fiance.

Will the new ad focused against Mitt Romney do the same kind of damage the Willie Horton Ad did to Michael Dukakis? When believe it won’t. That ad that is coming out against Mitt Romney is going to show how Daniel Tavares Jr. was released from prison and then later murdered Brian and Beverly Mauck of Graham, Washington.
