Hila Elmalich Death? Adi Barkan, a fashion photographer, can be seen in photos holding Hila Elmalich in his arms as he rushed her to the hospital. She died last Wednesday in the hospital.
Hila Elmalich death comes fell ill because she was so thin. The pressure for fashion models to be thin in unreal. The expectations are so unrealistic that girls starve themselves or become anorexic to achieve their thin body’s. Most of them do know realize that being to thin really looks horrible and it is obvious that they are unhealthy.
A special report on Hila Elmalich and the fashion model industry aired this morning on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Adi Barkan led the charge in Israel and helped to pass a law requiring fashion models to have a body mass index of 19 or higher. They are the first country to pass such a law. This is start in the right direction and hopefully other countries follow suit. This could be a change the will affect the industry for good.
