Gary Moeller

Gary Moeller was the coach of the Michigan Wolverines who resigned suddenly back in 1995 and opened the door for now retired coach Lloyd Carr.
Gary Moeller was the replacement for legendary coach Bo Schembechler. Bo Schembechler taught both Lloyd Carr and current LSU coach Les Miles everything they know. Both Lloyd Carr and Les Miles also worked under Coach Gary Moeller.
Les Miles is the current top man for the job according to Michigan officials. It was reported that Lloyd Carr told the Athletic Director that he would be stepping at the end of the season about half way through this year. He did this so the school would have sufficient time to find a replacement. They currently do not have a replacement or at least have not announced to the public a replacement. It seems that all Michigan coaches becomes greats just like Gary Moeller did.
