Nicole Catsouras crash photos that were leaked on the Internet are in the middle of a law suit at the moment. Nicole Catsouras was killed a year ago on Halloween after she took her father’s Porsche 911 and lost control of the car and crashed into concrete tollbooth.
Nicole Catsouras was driving at over 100 miles per hour and clipped another car. When that happened she lost control of the Porsche and crossed the median slamming into a concrete tollbooth. She was killed instantly upon impact reports say.
Graphic Nicole Catsouras crash photos were leaked to the public and eventually made there way to the girl’s parents. The photos were extremely disturbing and even included a photo of her decapitated body. How sad is it that her family had to see photos like that of the daughter they loved. There was even a Myspace page setup that contained the crash photos. The family is now suing the California Highway Patrol because they believe one of them leaked the photos on the Internet. We will follow this story and provide any news updates regarding it.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Never has that been truer than in the case of Nikki Catsouras and her tragic accident on Halloween 2006. Except it wasn’t just a picture that spoke volumes, it was several pictures. Pictures which showed vividly and graphically the results of the devastating accident. Who would have thought that a few innocently snapped photographs would spread like wildfire across the Internet, eventually leading back to the grieving family? Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words, however, the one thing these pictures don’t tell is the truth – something that apparently very few people were actually interested in getting.

My heart goes out to you. First I would like to take the time to apologize for Americas hatred. “I really and truley APOLOGIZE”. Hey, if anyone has the pics, I would like to have them. I have a 21 yr old cousin that has a Porsche and he thinks he is Superman in the car. He says they are made to withstand highspeed crashes. I live in Atlanta and we have had some of these type wrecks lately, but I would just like to shock my cousin, so hopefully he won’t end up like this beautiful young lady. It’s so freakin SAD!! I feel so increadibly sorry for her family.
Since I’ve read so much about this case and have seen the story on TV, I would like to see the photo’s for myself. Where do I go on line to find them? From every bad come good so hopefully seeing these photo’s for real will make some other kid out there slow the heck down. It can happen to you. I feel extremely sorry for the Catsouras family.
First and foremost I would like to send my regards to Nicole’s family. I can’t say I truly understand their pain but what I can say is I know how it feels to lose a loved one. I was searching on this one website to read about the accident yesterday when I saw a numerous amount of links. Each one I clicked showed those awful gruesome pics of her decapitated body. I cried and what I can’t understand is why would anyone of such ignorant character post something like that for people to see. Her family is going through enough as it is and they will continually suffer because she is never coming back. I know most people are saying “What the hell was she thinking” and I even seen a few people post on other websites, commenting she was a spoiled brat, she deserved to die for that stunt and other negative things. What I want to say to them is…Everyone makes mistakes! No one is perfect in this world and we tend to do the opposite and pay the price for it at all times. Maybe now or later or even right at that moment. Sometimes the price we pay makes others suffer and grieve thinking they’re the ones to blame when in all reality,our parents are not to blame, were just to stubborn that we only see things our way.
The family need’s love & support!!! Sorry 4 your loss, I know it must be hard to lose a child… no matter what age!!!! GOD BLESS !!!
In writing 1 more thing, I live in Newport Beach cali,& I’ve seen my share of young kid’s die every freaki’n year usually due to speeding in a car !!! Usually at graduation time !! Please, kids be careful !!! (Please slow down just a little bit!!!)… Your loved much (and missed) by many!!! P.S. i am so saddened by this horrible accident. my prayers go out to the catsouras family. i am new to the internet and some how stumbled upon a site that explained what happened that halloween afternoon in 2006. i have no words that could describe how awful i’ve felt since reading the articles and especially seeing those pictures. they haunt me everyday. i first read and saw the pictures on april 24 2008 . somehow i cant leave that halloween afternoon. please tell me how i could help nicole’s family in any way ! i had an idea to run from rhode island to california and raise money . maybe if i run all the way to nicole’s hometown it will ease the sick pain and sorrow that is hurting me so deeply. we all know we cant turn back time but it’s another thing to be stuck in time from how sad you are from what your eyes saw that very day. want to show nicole (looking down on us all from heaven) that there are people who care and want to help your family ! i pray for you nicole and also your loving family. brian - narragansett, rhode island brianmitchell15@sprintpcs.com
This is so unfair to the family. I know people are curious but there are some things people don’t need to know about. I am sorry for the family having to deal with this. I have worked in EMS for 17 years. Family’s DO NOT need to see their loved ones in this shape. They need to remember them how they were. Unfortunately they will never be able to erase this from their memory. So, next time you see fire, ems or police thank them for the job they do. They see things that no single individual should ever have to.
Having lost my 17 yr old sister to a drunk driver in 1991, these pics are devastating! I can not imagine recieving pics of my dead sister 2 years later on the web! It’s bad enough all the emotions that this poor family is and will experience through their life! To throw this in the mix…I’m so sorry! May God bless you always! xo
These pictures should be taken down. The parents shouldn’t have to fight people like this to take pictures down off the internet of their poor daughter. It should be done out of human respect and dignity this is sickening.
If you, the blog author, truly believe that it is “sad” for her family to have to be haunted by these graphic pictures and the hurtful comments that inevitably follow them, would you consider removing some of the comments that have been left on your blog?
This girl was very very beautiful, and people who seem to be leaving rude comments should go to hell! These are very good sources for drivers ed students but, it’s the catsouras daughter and they didn’t want this shit on the internet, so there should not have been any pictures of this beautifil girls accident. Although sick people like gory pictures, this should not have been one of them. Other fucking messed up people should just leave the family alone or at least be respectful and not send them stupid shit about there beautiful and probably respectful daughter!
I read it in Newsweek magazine.I have daughters too. I am sorry Christo Catsouras.
