Joe Nuxhall death at the age of 79 years old. He was famous for being the youngest baseball player in major league baseball history. He was also well known for his work on the Cincinnati Reds radio broadcasts.
Joe Nuxhall death comes after a battle with cancer. In 1992 he had surgery for prostate cancer. It apparently returned last February which caused his left leg to swell up with tumors. He was placed in the hospital at the beginning of this week and the cancer finally got the best of Joe Nuxhall.
Joe Nuxhall death is sad news for this beloved player and Reds broadcaster. He played his first game ever in Major League Baseball at the age of 15 years old. That is an amazingly young age. This apparently occurred during World War II when there was a shortage of players to play. He will be missed by many including his family and baseball fans across the world, especially in Cincinnati.
