Norma Giannini Pleads No Contest

Norma Giannini pleads no contest in court today on charges of molesting two boys while she was a principal in the 1060’s. Sister Norma Giannini molested the two boys at a church convent and school that was located in Milwaukee. Reports say that she had sexual contact with the 2 boys more than 160 times.
Norma Giannini faces up to 10 years for each count of indecent behavior with a minor. She is currently 79 years old and had retired five years ago. She now lives in Oak Park.
Sister Norma Giannini apparently went to a St. Louis treatment facility for counseling in the 1990’s after The Sisters of Mercy found out what had happened. It will be interesting to see if any thing happens to The Sisters of Mercy legally because they did not report the incident to authorities.
