Norman Mailer Dies at 84

Norman Mailer Dies at the age of 84 years old. He was best known for his work as a writer and his wild public antics. He also won the Pulitzer Prize for his work as a writer.
Norman Mailer died from renal failure at a hospital in Manhattan early this morning. He had been hospitalized for the last month for a surgery that was going to remove scar tissue from one of his lungs.
Norman Mailer and his work as a writer were sometimes very controversial. He liked to write things that involved individuals and the collective power associated with politics and sex. In the 1960’s he helped to pioneer a new movement called “New Journalism. It was made up of non-fiction narratives that were based on the writer’s point of view. Many believe he had a ton of talent, but wasted it and never used it to his full potential.
Norman Mailer will be survived by his sixth wife Norris Church and his nine children including one adopted child. He will long be remembered for his work and his antics. If there is any breaking news regarding Norman Mailer or his family we will provide an update.
