Amanda Knox Seattle, is where the 20 year old girl if originally from. She has been studying abroad in Perugia, Italy. Her flatmate was Meredith Kercher, a British student studying at Leeds University that was on a 12 month exchange program.
Amanda Knox is being detained along with two other people on suspicion of murder. The other two being detained are Amanda’s boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 24, and a 38 year old man that owned a bar in the area.
Amanda Knox is a student at the University of Washington in the United States and was in Italy on an exchange program. She is known of her Myspace page as Foxy Knoxy. It is currently being investigated by authorities for clues. The girl that was murdered had her throat slit. Authorities believe the predators were attempting to rape Meredith Kercher. They also believe that all three people being detained were in the room when she was killed.
Some interesting things authorities have found regarding Amanda Knox are some short stories discussing rape. That is something that is not going to look good for Amanda. Her parents are remaining strong in saying that they feel she is innocent. An autopsy revealed that the girl was not raped however, so that makes things a little more interesting for authorities because it may rule out rape as a motive. Looking at the way this has transpired,it’s hard to arrive at any conclusion other than the one that Amanda Knox is as guilty as sin.
She has repeatedly lied,tried to blame others,changed her story,and acted innapropriately throughout.
When the police were examining the death scene ,people who knew her (and Meredith) were appalled to see her cracking jokes ,flirting with her boyfriend and generally acting like a person who doesn’t give a damn.
Listening to her reactions to the prosecuting attorney the other day it became obvious that allowing her to testify was a huge mistake,in that it allowed the public to see the real Amanda Knox,defiant,irritable and angry at having the slightest thing she said disputed. In short,a person one would be unwise to cross,as Meredith found out to her cost.
