Actress Pounder is also known by CCH Pounder and has the full name of Carol Christine Hilaria Pounder. She has appeared on a long list of television shows and made for TV movies. The long list of shows are for the most part shows that were very popular in their time and many even received awards.
Actress Pounder was nominated three different times for an Emmy Award. The very first role she ever had was on a TV show called Bagdad Cafe. She landed roles on hit TV shows such as Miami Vice, L.A. Law, The X-files, Living Single, and Quantum Leap. These are for the most part big name shows that had a wide amount of popularity.
The famous Actress Pounder went on to play a long time role on the medical drama ER where she starred as Dr. Angela Hicks from 1994 until 1997. Her most recent role has been as Detective Claudette Wyms on the TV show entitled The Shield. This show, which airs on the FX Network, was a police drama. She was nominated for an Emmy award in 2005 for her role on this show.
