Jaguar Maker Ford Planning To Sale
Jaguar maker Ford, is planning to sale its Jaguar unit. Ford has been accepting bids for the Jaguar and Land Rover units. It has received at least three serious bids and it recently told it’s employees to expect a visit from potential buyers on Novmber 20.
Jaguar maker Ford looks like it is realy planning to move forward with this deal. People close to the matter have stated that Ford expects to complete a deal with a buyer before the year is out. Jaguar maker Ford purchased the Jaguar unit back in 1989 for $2.5 billion. It also purchased Land Rover in 2000 for $2.75 billion.
Potential buyers of the Jaguar and Land Rover units include Tata Motors of India, Ripplewood Holdings LLC of New York, and One Equity Partners which is a unit of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
Jaguar maker Ford is most likely to sale the units off to Tata Motors. They already make cars so they would be able to possibly bid higher because they will be able to save money on the back end. We will update you on any breaking news regarding the sale of Jaguar and Land Rover
