Dodge La Femme car is best known for its attempt at sucking in women car buyers back in the early 1950’s. The Dodge La Femme had a pink interior patterned with rosebuds. The car also included a matching purse thrown in as an added bonus.

The Dodge La Femme had all the bells and whistles a woman would want. It had lipsticks holders and everything. What guy would ever want to be scene in this car?

The Dodge La Femme was thus doomed right from the get go. With out the support of men drivers the car failed. Surprisingly many women were actually offended by the car. It sported a 218 HP v8 engine which was a nice amount of power back in the day. The car was believed to have only sold around 2,500 models.

Today the Dodge La Femme is best compared to the Volkswagen Beetle. The manufacturer claims the car is sold to women an estimated 65% of the time. I could see how this car is around to stay.
