Joelle Ogletree

Joelle Ogletree is the teacher that was accused of having sex with three high school students five years ago. Since the accusations she has maintained her innocence.
Joelle Ogletree was cleared of having sex with the students. When it came time for the trial one of the students had admitted to lying about the whole thing. The other two students were found to be not credible.
Joelle Ogletree is now suing the school district for firing her without just cause. There is also evidence that the students that accused the teachers of the allegations might have been pressured to do so. The student that admitted to lieing has come out and said that he felt pressured to make the accusation by the schools administration. There is also evidence showing that the 3 boys met with administrators together over 20 different times. Sounds pretty fishy to me.
Joelle Ogletree is now trying to get her life back, but she is still not allowed to teach in the school district even though she has been cleared of the crime. She said that they won’t even let her volunteer at the school her daughter goes to. That’s pretty sad if you ask me. They need to do something about this because she has be cleared of the crime, unless there is evidence they are not bringing forth. Unless they have more charges to bring against her I think they should allow her to work again. If there is any more breaking news regarding this story we will provide an update.

I live in Wickenburg, AZ. I have followed the Joelle Ogletree story closely. I am educated, fairly affluent, well-known and well-respected in my community. I am, for most of my adult life from North Scottsdale. I watched her on the Dr. Phil Show–both installments. I believe she is innocent. I feel it is tragic that her career has been compromised, her life irreversibly changed and she must live with this stigma in her community and throughout her life. Even being totally exonerated, her life will and can never be the same. Hopefully, she can move on and find some peace.
