Aubrey De Grey is a scientist that believes that within a decade provided the proper funding for research that humans will increase their lifespan to three times what it is currently.
Aubrey De Grey, 44, is trying to achieve what most say is impossible. He recently received $3.5 million in funding paid to the Methuselah Foundation from co-founder of Paypal Peter Thiel. Mr. Thiel believes that if anyone can do this it will be Aubrey De Grey. He has the determination and the ability to think that is needed to accomplish this task.
A challenge was made to all scientists out there to prove Aubrey De Grey’s theory wrong. There was even a $20,000 reward for providing proof that it was not possible. To date no one has disproved his theory and he is moving forward stronger than ever. He claims that if this is accomplished you no longer will need to worry so much about being old; you no longer have to retire. It will change human life as we know it.
