Ashley Papelbon is the wife of Boston Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon. Ashley Papelbon has gained instant popularity after her husband and the Boston Red Sox won the World Series on Sunday night.

Ashley Papelbon was there to support her husband through the playoffs and was there at the end of the game when the Red Sox won.

Jonathan Papelbon entered the 4th game of the World Series in the 8th to attempt to close out the game. He indeed was successful as he struck out the last batter to win the Series. Jonathon Papelbon was so excited about the victory that he did a little Irish step dancing to his song “Shipping up to Boston,” played by the Dropkick Murphy’s. His wife Ashley Papelbon was there to support him all the way and was definitely there to watch his dancing skills. Now that the Red Sox have won the series his wife is gaining popularity in the media. Let’s hope it doesn’t go to far and the media allows them to have there privacy.
