Bumbo Recall?  Bumbo International of South Africa has recalled around 1 million “baby sitter” seats.  The Consumer Product Safety Commission has this to say about what can happen with the baby seats. “If the seat is placed on a table, countertop, chair, or other elevated surface, young children can arch their backs, flip out of the Bumbo seat, and fall onto the floor, posing a risk of serious head injuries.”

Bumbo recall has gone into affect due to 28 different reports received of children falling out of the seats.  Of those 28 injuries three of them include skull fractures from the fall.  If you have one of Bumbo’s baby seats the agency has said that you can contact the company and request them to send you warning labels stating that the baby seat is not to be used on elevated surfaces.  The warning label would state “WARNING — Prevent Falls; Never us on any elevated surface.”
