Robert Chambers Arrested, Preppy Killer

Robert Chambers arrested, the “preppy killer” as they call him, for selling cocaine. Police busted into an apartment on the Upper East Side of New York to find Robert Chambers. The raid took place on Monday evening after enough evidence was gathered from an undercover sting operation. According to reports the “preppy killer” fought back as there were some injuries reported by the arresting officers.
Robert Chambers has been charged with counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance as well as resisting arrest. Robert Chambers girlfriend was also present in the apartment during the raid and she was also arrested with criminal sale of a controlled substance. It was reported that she was in tears as she was arrested. Robert Chambers was also arrested back in 2004 for heroin possession as well as driving with out a license. In that instance in was sentenced with a $200 fine and 100 days in jail.
Robert Chambers arrest brings back his past to many that remember him. He was released from prison on 2003 after serving 15 years of time. In 1986 he was convicted of strangling Jennifer Levin, an 18 year old girl, in Central Park. The “preppy killer” claimed that it was an accident during rough sex. He was around 22 years of age at the time. We will update you if there is any new information released from this case.
