Ladybug Infestation

It is ladybug infestation season right now. With the weather getting colder ladybug infestation is more prominent across the country. Then tend to come inside doing the winter season.
Having a ladybug infestation can be very problematic. If ladybugs do get in your home they can be very difficult to get rid of. The reason for this is that they release pheromones which attract other ladybug’s. Thus it creates a ladybug infestation in your home. They are attracted to light colored homes that reflect heat well, generally older homes fall under this category. The ladybugs can get into your home through cracks in doorways, windows, and clap boards. They enjoy hibernating in warm areas during the winter months. There are two things about having ladybug’s hibernate in your home that can be horrible. The first is that if they is one ladybug there will be more to follow. The second is that they tend to come back year after year because of the scent they release which can make it almost impossible to get rid of them.
If you have a ladybug infestation you are going to want to call an exterminator as it is your best chance to get rid of them. They are now poisonous however so you have no need to worry about that. If you think you have a ladybug infestation, don’t waste any time getting rid of them as they could cause you much grief.
