Fried Coke and Fried Pepsi? Yeah that is what I was thinking, what is Fried Coke and Fried Pepsi? Well it happens to be a hot commodity at the South Carolina State Fair. If you want to know what the heck it is well I happen to have the answer for you.
Fried Coke and Fried Pepsi is basically a doughnut type ball that has an after taste of of Pepsi or Coke, which ever flavor you choose. South Carolina State Fair goes have had interesting things to say about them as well. Cathy Nates of Columbia says “It’s not anything you’d want all the time, but it’s not bad.” Cheryl Loretan of Columbia said “It’s doughnutty, with a little Pepsi twist.” Pretty interesting huh. Well I do have to admit I am a little jealous as I think it would taste fantastic. To bad I don’t have a local fair around me to open a booth and bust out my version of Fried Coke and Fried Pepsi. I sure it is just a doughnut ball with Coke or Pepsi included in the batter. Great idea if you ask me.
If you want to try some Fried Coke or Fried Pepsi check at a local fair or carnival and if you don’t have much like there get brave and try to make it yourself. If I find anyone selling this outside of a fair I will update you with the news.
