Koren Robinson reinstated to the Green Bay Packers today by the NFL. Koren Robinson was suspended for one year for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Today was the first delay he was eligible to be reinstated by the league.
Koren Robinson was involved in a high speed chase with police reaching speeds in excess of 100 mph back in August of 2006. When the chase finally stopped Koren Robinson was found to have a blood alcohol level of .11, which is above the legal limit of .08. He was sentanced to 90 days in jail when he accepted a plea deal. He chose to take a plea deal which meant he would plead guilty to fleeing police. As a result of this incident he was found to be in violation of his parole for an incident he was involved last year. The separate incident involved drunk driving in the state of Washington as the news reported.
Koren Robinson has been staying in shape in Arizona and is very excited to get pack to his Green Bay Packer teammates. He should be a flight to GreenBay this evening to rejoin his teammates. Koren Robinson is hoping to help contribute to the Packers success this year and hopefully help them get to the Super Bowl.
