Jeanette Sliwinski Trial Starts Today

Jeanette Sliwinski is going on trial for the murder of three musicians today at the Cook County courthouse. The car Jeanette Sliwinski was driving was going at least 70 mph when she drove her Ford Mustang through three red lights and crashed into a Honda Civic.
Jeanette Sliwinski had crashed her Ford Mustang into a car a card that had driver Michael Dahlquist, 39, John Glick, 35, and Douglas Meis, 29, in it. They were on their lunch break when the accident happened. Jeanette Sliwinski’s Mustang flew up into the air after it collided with Michael Dahlquist’s Honda Civic and left both cars on there top side. John Glick’s body was lying in the road as he was thrown from the vehicle during the accident.
Jeanette Sliwinski was 23 years old at the time of the accident back in 2005. Before the accident happened she had just moved in with her parents and was struggling with mental health issues. Jeanette Sliwinski had been in and out of mental health facilities seeing profesionals in the months prior to the accident. She went to Niles West High School and also graduated from Columbia College with a degree in marketing and communications. She had worked as a model and a stripper.
Jeanette Sliwinski has been in the Cook County Jail for the past two years and her lawyers have been arguing that she was insane at the time of the crash. It will be interesting to see what comes of this trial. Will Jeanette Sliwinski be convicted? Only time will tell, but we do know that three people died that day that were minding their own business.
