Mayor Robert Levy Missing In Atlantic City After Phony Soldier Investigation

Mayor Robert Levy Missing is the headline that has been coming off the news wires. Mayor Robert Levy is the Mayor of New Jersey’s Atlantic City. He vanished about a week ago amid reports that he was under investigation by the federal government for lying about his military record. The reports stated that Mayor Levy had falsely claimed to be military Green Beret. The missing Mayor Levy does have a military record including two tours with the Army in Vietnam. There was no evidence showing he was ever a Green Beret though.
The mayor disappeared after signing several city ordinances and verbally transferring power to Domenic Cappella, the city business administrator. The mayor’s administration has stated that he on temporary medical leave and would not reveal any details as to the nature of the medical leave.
The residents of Atlantic City are outraged that Domenic Cappella is acting as city mayor and they want him to step down. The residents feel that the one in power needs to be voted upon and just appointing someone would be considered a dictatorship. The residents also are upset the Mayor Robert Levy did not inform them of his medical condition or that he would be on a leave of absence.
Something seems fishy about this whole situation as indeed if there truly was an issue where Mayor Levy needed to take a leave of absence he surely would be alerted the public with a press conference. We will continue to monitor this and update you on any new reports.
